Don't fret. If you can get them to face the back again...then that seems to be the safest option. But you certainly are not being a bad parent if they still face forward in the car seat. I think this is just helpful info to pass on to others. Or maybe try to keep the next kiddo facing rear for longer and always know that having them in a car sear--no matter what direction they face is the best. I have seen ears for almost 25 years and still find it hard to say which one is effusion and which one has glu ear. May be we must go back and start measuring pressure to make the clinical diagnosis.
