hey all.
Sorry have been busy and not having much time to post recently. Work is still going very well. I am finding that working part-time is a great set up for us. I think it is making me a better parent. Having adult time away from home and contributing to society is a good, healthy thing. My time away from Anna makes me miss her and enjoy my time with her even more. It is a good balance. I am also less stressed out at work which is huge for me.
I cannot believe it is almost August! Where has the summer gone? My goodness. Anna and I have been enjoying taking a “swim” in our backyard kiddie pool. She Loves it. She is like a little fish in the water and is so happy splashing around.
I have 4 friends that will be having babies this summer and early fall. One couple is due this week—pretty exciting. I think Ryan and I are looking forward to having more friends with babies/kids since we are some of the first in our group of close friends here in Portland.
Anna has been ( for the most part) sleeping well at night. She typically goes to bed around 10pm and on a good night will sleep until 630am, In fact this week I’ve been having to wake her up to bet ready for day care.
